Since the show has blended Gendry with Edric Storm, I wonder what this is going to mean for his character. Since Edric only appears in this book, I wonder if Gendry will go back to his book path afterward or if the show will do something completely new. __________________

I guess they just merge the both characters together so he would return to his own path after this arc.

I hope you're both right and he does go back to his original path. I just wonder how he can go back to the Brotherhood since the show version has sold him.
