I love the title of this Thread, that was a really funny line when he said it, but then most of his lines are funny. And his crush on Brienne is super cute in a really awkward way. :lol:

BTW, does anyone know where in the books Tormund gives that speech about the giantess? Was it ACOK or ASOS? I barely remember Tormund from the books but that speech sounded really familiar when I heard it.

I didn't get that far in the books and I heard they veered away from some of the storylines, so no sure how much of him is even in the books.

I read the first four books around 5 years ago, but I couldn't remember Tormund. But the speech about the giant sounded so familiar, and I read online it's almost straight from the books.

The major difference is age. Tormund is one of the few characters who is younger on the show. In the books, he's around 60.

I love Tormund!! I really enjoy how clueless he is about some stuffs, but he speaks his mind and he has a good heart. Really hoping he survives the great war :fingers_crossed:

I really want Tormund and Brienne to be survivors of the Great War! I don't care who takes the iron throne so long as those two cuties are living! haha!

I'm thinking the next episode might be it for him. He had a lot of interaction in 8.02. Plus his big monologue on why he's called Giantsbane. And now Brienne knows his admiration is genuine.

But I really, really, really want to be wrong.
