So we started potty training. This picture followed trying to convince a toddler to pee in to his potty instead of the big toilet he can’t reach (even on top toes - he wants to pee snarfing up - wants nothing to do with the sitting down), while desperately trying to clean poop of his leg and hand because I didn’t realize he’d pooped in his diaper before I took it off (I had literally changed it twenty minutes before and he had already pooped - what are we feeding him #vegantoddler #regular and also long hair that’s not held up or back in any way is not good for such activities), and then chasing him while he ran commando around the upstairs yelling for his father as though I were the wickedest witch of all time. I finally managed to get him back to the bathroom, make sure I’d cleaned him properly (I somehow had with no poop transfer to my hair), put on a fresh diaper (which he was vehemently refusing) and his pants, hand him off to his father so I could tend to the mail I somehow broke (as in down to the nail bed #therewillbeblood), clean the potty and toilet and bathroom floor….
Anyone have any pointers or stories they’d like to share so I can gain some wisdom?
