Fate of the Misfits Board
 

:wave: Hi all,

It is with great sadness that Paula and I have to write this post. We each individually have thought about closing this board for weeks, due to the lack of posts by other :ff: posters than ourselves over the past several weeks. After talking about it, we both have decided that it may be best to close the board. With short seasons, popular cast members departure from the show, and a lack of excitement from posters about the coming season, we feel that it may just be right to close this board and have a thread for the cast and show on the TV board.

Before this is ultimiately decided, we wanted to post a thread and see what you all thought about this. Any imput over the next couple of days are welcome and appreciated.

It's so sad that this board is struggling :(

It is sad I didnt know it was going so bad its sad to read this but I understand the situation ur in a very hard posirion and it is sad that half the orginal cast is gone

It's sad but our post count has been slow for months now and the excitement for the show has died down, even more so after 3 other cast members left.

Any more thoughts on this?

I always hate when boards are on the verge of closing. I love Misfits and I'm sad for the lack of posting. Maybe things will pick up soon. I'm just hoping for the best.

I'd say to wait and see until the new series, because news should definitely come out by october and then the board could pick up.
It's true, the post count has been slow for months, but you mods have done such an incredible job keeping the board alive despite a very long hiatus/ depressing news, it'd be really sad if all that work was for nothing :(
Maybe we could posticipate the decision until the end of the year, and if the situation remains the same even after the new series we'll face it? Just my imput. Obviously it's a very hard decision so I'll leave it to you mods, I completely trust you to decide what's best for the board :hug:

I would say wait for the new season to start also. Things could pick up.
