I'm actually not sure. To be perfectly honest, I'm not the best with computers. The problem only happens when I try to download off of websites.

Regular websites, like download.com or something, or a torrent website?

Regular websites. Places like yousendit, torrent, they all work fine. It's just regular websites that I have a problem with. I can download some stuff on the sites, but not others. Apperently, it's my computer. I'm just not sure what it is.

Did you try clearing your temporary internet files? Deleting your cookies maybe? Tools > Options in Intrnet Explorer.

I'm having .jpg's saving as bitmap's and I've already tried to deleting my temporary internet files. I once changed the settings on how much space was reserved for the temp internet files and that fixed it, but i don't remember what the setting was.

Didn't want to start a thread so I'll just test my luck here.

I want to rip/convert my cd collection onto my apple ibook, what kind of mp3 ripper can I use for that? Preferably freeware.

I'd use iTunes but just make then .m4a...

Any help i appreciated.

Why are some threads "empty"? As in the thread opens, but there aren't any posts on them? Has it to do with the upgrade/problems with FF?

Yeah. I probably should go in and close them. Maybe when I have some extra time I will. That's what I get for cutting corners andnot bothering with the little threads.

Anything specific you were looking at?
