Error message on start up

Every time I start up my computer I get this message:

This program has performed an illigal operation and will be shut down. SYSTRAY caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff886df

I've tried searching google and yahoo but can't find a way to fix this. Any help would be apreciated.

go to msconfig, disable everything and reboot. (start -> run -> msconfig)

Tried that and it works but my screen ends up looking all clunky and the icons are huge, so I have to re-enable everything and I end up back where I started. Thanks anyway though

Try using a start up disk and then do what Nerble suggested.

I think it might be a virus or some bug.

then the long drawn out process is disable one at a time and restart.

Thanks for the help but I think I might have fixed it, I downloaded windows registry repair. I ran it straight off and it came up with 900 problems which I repaired and since then the problem seems to have gone away. My computer still seems to run so slow though, its impossible to do anything, I can only get bittorrent to dl at 9 kb at the highest. I think I need a new pc

if you had that many registry problems you probably have spyware or viruses.
