Very enjoyable episode.

The plot was interesting and really well done mixed with a lot of humor.

Girl: "Kelly, your Dads are here to pick you up."
Steve: "I'm sorry, you think I look old enough to be her father?"
Danny: "That's the part you bumped on?"

The girl trying to escape on a scooter hilarious the best chase I've seen in a while

I liked the way they brought Sang-Min back to Hawaii and into the show.

I loved Danny scenes with his nephew Eric great casting choice hope they wil bring him back. Nice info that Danny Williams was Mr November in the 1998 Newark Police Academy Calendar!

Steve + kids = adorable. Always.

I love hearing Daniel talk Hawaiian

The end was priceless : Kono with Sang-Min was great I know he is bad but he always touch my heart when he want to see his family , Steve adorable as aways when he brought to letter from the Governor to the father in the Hospital shows what a great heart he has always fighting for the good, and Danny with his nephew awesome at the hospital , I LOVE the end, it was great and brought tears to my eyes

The whole voting thing was ridiculous same ending only with a different bad guy I really hope they will never do suchs a stunt again

I liked this episode, it wasn't exactly the best but it was fun to watch.

One of the things that I really liked was all the twisted we got from the very beginning. At first I thought it was actually a kidnapping, then when the investigation began we were led to believe it was a robbery than a teacher/student romance, which changed to a "selling the test" assumption to finally reveal the real reason behind the murder.

Another hit for me was the humor... it was present without being over the top and it was fitting since most of it was a result of Danny's nephew remarks and/or Kamekona and Sang Min. I have to admit that I've laughed at a couple of scenes (the chase scene on the scooter, Mr November; Toaster's room mate) .
And speaking of Eric (Dany's nephew), considering that I wasn't really excited about his presence, I totally liked him and his witty remarks, also he has some of the Danny's mannerism. When he sent that picture of Danny as Mr November, I swear, I laughed out loud... Steve and Chin's reaction were priceless.
At the end I felt it was great that he didn't want to be a cop but was thinking about becoming a lab technician. Maybe he can come back and share some scenes with Fong
It was clever that he helped out on some parts of the case since he is a teenager that would know tricks young people uses for cheating in school.
The way Danny dealt with him was also perfect for a problematic teen who was raised by a single mom. Only shows that Danny will be more than capable at handling Grace at that age.

Chin Ho and Steve working together was awesome! It's funny how in pretty much all the times that the team need to go investigate something in the jungle, those two end up paired up. Finally Chin Ho had more participation on the case.

Always a pleasure seeing Sang Min. And when you add Kamekona to the mix things just get better. I found really interesting that Kono got the babysitting dutty. It's nice having a secondary story in an episode.... things don't get too boring and it gives appropriate screentime to the characters. The thing with Sang Min is that he is a bad guy, but when it comes to his family he really is an ok guy. And I found really compassionate of Kono to propose that deal.

Overall, it was a good episode. I didn't see all the endings yet, just the "boss" one, so I can't actually comment on the others....

A very watchable eppie. I really enjoyed it!!

Random Thoughts:

Did anyone go to CBS.com and watch the other endings yet? I want to but haven't had the chance. I thought this ending was very good.

Yeah!! Sang Min!! I am glad to see him. I loved San Min calling her spicy and Kono setting him straight. I really thought Kono drew the short straw "babysitting" Sang Min but she was the perfect person. I found their last scene touching too Lena.
Spoiler:

I wasn't too sure what to expect from Eric, Danny's nephew and at the beginning he struck me as kind of a guido/Jersey shore type (not a favorite) but by the end I really liked him. Eric just needed a strong man in his life and I really was impressed with his assistance with the case. Steve's fist bump and calling Eric "E-Train" coupled with the look on Danny's face made me laugh out loud. It would be okay with me if we saw him again.

Loved Steve and Chin working together. TPTB are really making an effort in changing up the pairs and not just having it Steve/Danny and Chin/Kono.

Steve seems to be getting better with kids all the time (a little of Alex showing through?) A vast improvement from his first interaction in s1. His bringing the letter signed by the governor to the scientist to help his child made me smile.

Me too. I think because it was so slow.

Danny: "Pull over"
Girl" "No.

I thought it was cool because it was different but it doesn't need to be done more than once.

Looking forward to TWO eppies next week!!!

I agree loved how they have changed Steve in better understanding and working with kids............ and Alex acting with kids is a win win for me

From another forum!!!!

unless I'm misunderstanding things I've read, the kid Steve talked to at the end--who needed the leaves (or whatever it was) found on Ni'ihau & also being grown in the house on Oahu where HPD didn't find them but Five-0 did, because they could lead to a possible cure for his illness--is ill in real life; he wasn't just an actor hired to play a kid who was sick.

I finally had to go to Spoilertv.com to see the alternate endings. CBS.com and Globaltv.com both didn't play for me. I have had trouble with CBS for weeks not playing episodes. Not sure if it is my computer or them. Any way all 3 endings did just change the perp. But to me the Boss seemed to make the most sense. I didn't vote, had computer off to watch tv. I know, old school. Did wish they would have had the endings a bit different. Well the shooting of the perp was slighlly different, but you know what I mean. Patrick Roth, Boss seemed the logical choice to me, TA, Bram Helms, with the test cheating was 2nd, and Frat student, Tyler Brown was to me the least suspicious. And becca Fine could not have put him in the acid bath. Kind of a strange place to do it anyway? In his own lab? We really didn't findout where he was killed did we?

Also i thought there had ben a kidnapping at first too. Then findout its a initiation.
Did anyone notice all the singing or songs in the show. Seemed like 3 different scenes?

Highlights just like others had.
Moped chase, 29 miles per hour. Rebecca Fine would not stop. Danny: Pull Over, Becca: No.
Stave and Danny at the Sorority and the Dad quote.
Uncle Danny and Eric. Sometimes stupid sometimes smart. But Danny talking to him about what he should do was good. Also Eric helping and wanting to Be a LabTech. was nice.
Kono and Sang Min was a good mix. Him coming out of shower and Komekono suit and the food he ordered was funny. Then the 2 tied up, I so thought they were after him and being fake. But later when Kono found him by his ex's home, it was touching. And her helping him get closer to home was sweet.
Steve at the hospital giving Dr. Brian Stevens the message from the Governor . And son Avery such a gentleman.

I enjoyed the episode, and thought the choosing your own bad guy was a really interesting idea, until I saw the endings and saw that the only thing that changed was really just the bad guy, the motives were all the same, which made no sense at all. So in the end it was just a waste of time.

The episode it's self was fun. I loved Danny's nephew. Danny and Steve's banter was awesome as always, and the schooter 'chase' was priceless!

Next weeks looks good too.
