Personally I think Steve only say ILY to Danny because they are more like brother and he wouldn't say ILY to Kono or Chin because they are more like coworkers to him.

Steve has said many times we are Ohana we are Family!! Don't think Steve sees Kono and Chin only as co workers.

I was heartbroken, no McKono scenes and I was screaming at my TV screen telling Kono don't do it, please don't...say NO!!! If u ladies/guys saw the finale hope u know what I meant about the Kono part. I hope she say no in s5 if the writers continue with this awful SL for Kono.
