Grover joins Five-O are they out of their minds!!!! ........Okay new team member shall we get a poll up for how long Grover will be stay at Five-O because we all know his day's are numbered ........Give me a break Lori and Cath. needed to go and now we have a former SWAT leader joing Five-O.... Think the rumors are true that scott changed his contract to be less on the show. And a new couple is born McGrover hello season 5!!!!


I know its H50 but bombing a single cell gets you out a supermax prison Nobody else was there no prison guard ,no fences or barbed wire, he walks out kills a marshall takes his gun book a plane ticket to Hawaii and finds Ian Wright & Samantha Grover before Five-O How did Wo-Fat know any how what was going on in Hawaii!!

I am so over the Doris/Shelburne mess it drags on year after year after year how long will they continue doing this seriously! Doris visit Wo-Fat a few times in prison and no security camara worked or picked it up how convenient and nobody informs McGarrett wow!! quit a systeem they have in the States!

Surprise Cath and Steve talked over the phone again with each other and Steve get's it that Cath is on a personal mission to find the boy really Steve!! ..... we all know that will very likely end with her death.

This was NOT a serie finale for a normal episode it was a okay, but for a finale you expect something more it had only one plus this time NO!!! CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!

Lenkov thinks he's a fan favourite and of course Cath wasn't so she gets replaced. Haven't they learned by now that he was only a 'fan' favourite because he was hardly on the show and didn't interfere with the precious Steve/Danny moments, but that will soon change. Why does Lenkov continue to pander to 'fans'.

It was an awful season final. The end scene was so awkward. They were desperately trying to make it a big happy family vibe and it was just flat and awkward.

The show is just about guns and male testosterone now and a helping of annoying bickering that will most likely include Grover now.

Any hope of genuine emotion left with Catherine.

I'm over this show now. There is nothing salvageable about it anymore.

Yeah and just a particular part of the fans but wait till we are back in September with a less Danny and way to much McGrover scene's. I like Grover but not as Steve side kick all the time.


It sure was the worse of all the foscus was to much on Grover while it had been more at the team.

I don't see Grover running & chaching bad guys next season with him there is no Ohana feeling just like in 4.19 at the end at the dinner table. I like Grover don't get me wrong but he had to stay as SWAT team leader I can't see Grover saying Boss to Steve.

Adding Grover to Five-O is a smack in the faces to all Cath lovers IMO!!

They added Grover to the team?? What is wrong with these people?? The only interesting thing about Grover was the fact that he eventually worked with Steve, but wasn't officially his partner....

I have yet to see the episode but from what I read here, I can agree that adding Grover to the team seems like a big mistake. I am only guessing that means Scott Caan will probably be less present - we know he got a part in a movie so maybe he will unavailable for H50 at some point. I am trying to stay positive but end of season 4 is a mess. Last 2 episodes were already just average / solid with only 3 memorable scenes. And the finale seems divisive as well. Not a good end to the season which started off really excellent but now is only good because of some huge misteps like Melanie Griffith casting, getting rid of Michelle Borth or never ending Wo Fat story. I thought Peter Lenkov learnt after the mistakes of season 3 but I guess he is not very bright. I will watch the season 5 premiere for sure to see how Grover will fit in but i do a have a bad feeling that season 5 will H50's last and that will be on Lenkov.

While I am probably one of the few who was glad this wasn't a cliffy, I think they could have changed the ending so we went into the summer pondering and waiting for s5 season premiere.

Random Thoughts:

Nick Jonas plays a great bad guy.

The small car scene at the beginning was a bit silly.

I liked the scene between Danny and Grover; father to father.

The case wasn't too bad but IMO Nick Jonas made it better.

Ahhh, so I guess there is no prison that can hold Wo Fat? And Mama McG visited him twice? Will this storyline ever end?!!

How did Wo Fat know what was going on well enough to find Ian and Samantha, kill Ian, let Samantha go with a message for Steve?

I actually thought that the last scene would be Wo Fat and Steve meeting and have "the talk" Wo Fat wanted. It would have made this eppie more of a season ender. Why mention Wo Fat if he is only going to be in two scenes? IMO, PL doesn't know where he is going with this stupid storyline and is delaying it until next season so he can come up with a believable scenario.

I was extremely surprised and equally dismayed that Grover was made part of the task force. I don't see him taking orders from Steve. Either Grace (being a new Mom) or Scott must have requested to be featured less hense the addition. I knew this move would upset the Catherine fans. But why do we even HAVE to have a fifth member? I am a bit of a purist; I think it should remain the Core Four and no one new should be added whether it be Jena Kaye, Lori Weston, Lou Grover and yes even Catherine Rollins. I liked Grover as SWAT commander and being in the Ohana moments. Guess we'll have to see how this goes.

I have a feeling Grover is not gonna be in H50 permamently. I can only hope his character will be as "meaty" as it was as SWAT comdr.

I agree - for me nothing in the episode left me wanting to come back for a season 5.

I've no issue with their being a 5th team member and IM0 the team needs new dynamics because frankly the only thing the writers concentrate on is the Steve/Danny one and it's been so over used that it's become cliched.

But out of all the attempts at new team members Grover for me is the WORST choice. He worked because of his no nonsense wise cracking attitude with McGarret, but he can't do that now if Steve is his boss, or if he does it will just be an extension of the Steve/Danny bickering. I felt there was NO vibe at the end with him and the team either, unlike Cath and Jenna.

For me Jenna was fine and so was Cath as team members, it was just lazy and awful writing that didn't help their characters, but as I've said before ALL of them suffer from bad writing. It's just tolerated more with the main four.

The writers have made too many dumb moves on this show from trying to please their so called 'core' fan following, which in fact only consists of a few hundred or maybe thousand fans... But dumping Catherine for Grover is the biggest one yet. And what about all the other millions of fans who watch or fans that are god forbid interested in other characters besides Steve/Danny.
