excellent episode but the ending was disturbing

That was excellent episode - season's best so far. It had plenty of action and some heartfeit moments but the ending was disturbing. So now Danny is in the same as Chin who killed the murdered of his wife. Also I'm sure that 5.5 million $ Chin got from Gabriel wil "bite him in the ass" soon enough.

So Danny's a killer now, sigh. Is this meant to make him more macho.

He should be above this kind if behaviour otherwise why is he is law enforcement. I find it quite disturbing that fans condone vigilante behaviour like this.

Yes, in perfect world every policeman should be above such behaviour. Unfortunately the law cannot contains guys like Reyes and other druglords.

It was a intense episode with a lot of twist and turns I have mixed feeling about what Danny did one part of me understand why he killed Reyes first Reyes killed his brother and second he never had threaten Danny about Gracie safety but Danny is a cop he can play to be a judge he had to arrest Reyes IMO!! I also don't understand why Danny or Steve didn't looked in the barrel if it was really Matt's body. I wonder how Danny and Steve got $18 million through customs in Columbia and back into the US.

I am glad that both Danny and Chin told Steve everything no secret's for Steve this time. But they all are working for the law, I wish somehow Steve stop them. Chin for asking the money and Danny for killing Reyes.

The crime case was interesting I loved the bad-guy-turned-good story of Valentine love how it ended!!

Steve jumping on to the cop car was so cool

Chin moved his brother in law to a safe prison and took money in exchange. Think this will bite Chin in his ass later.

Love Kamekona and Jerry they are great together and a breathe of fresh air in the episode!! I laughed when Jerry said he needed a place to stay now and Grover, Kono and Steve all looked away and at each other

Kono was so BAMF!!!

Show needs to stop putting Grover in action scenes. Seriously, Steve practically had to run in slow motion to make Grover look like he was keeping up with Steve. It takes the action away I want to see our BAMF team and not someone who need a walker to keep up with the rest.

The acting from Scott, DDK and Alex was great no doubt about that

Each episode so far has been interesting this season. A remote controlled drone equipped with machine guns in the season premiere, a man who kidnaps a little girl to get attention to the fact his daughter died because of a defective child seat, a trio of female thieves who are targeted by a woman who is more ruthless then they are, and this weeks episode does not disappoint me. The back story is a hitman has a change of heart after he gets a new heart. He stops killing his targets and instead sends them to a compound in Hawaii where they were safe until the events of this episode. Kind of reminds me of Schindler's list. What we are unaware of is how many victims died at his hands before he had to have a new heart.

I am not surprised Daniel Williams killed the drug lord who had his brother murdered and sealed into a steel drum that may have contained moist lye for disposal, then forced Daniel Williams to recover the money. And as a final insult the drug lord takes amusement at his shock and grief. At least the drug lords death had to have been cleaner than Daniels brother. Perhaps the drug lord was wounded but not killed. If the drug lord has Grace kidnapped in the final episode of this season I will not be surprised. I do expect that the drug lord or his family will make Daniel Williams suffer for shooting him later this season.

I'm on the minority here, and I didn't really like the episode.. I was bored out for most of it, and to me the whole episode was way too cliche.

Granted, I didn't expect Danny to kill off Reyes, and that was a nice surprise.
And very touching the scene where the people are coming back to their village and all sort of nod thanking Valentine....

The lack of Kono, even if she had that one BAMF scene also annoyed me.

And seriously, if IA was already keeping tabs on Chin, with all the visits back and forth between him and Gabriel in prison sure is like a big waving the evidence in front of them.

BTW, good explanation on why they always use the camaro

Hello all.

This is my first chance to comment on the episode because mostly I'm computer free on the weekend and there seemed to be major issues on the site yesterday. Was I was only one having problems?

Anyway, all I can say was that I yelled out loud "holy crap" at the end of the episode. Can I say that? I was totally not expecting it. I thought maybe whatshisface would pull a gun and then they'd shoot him dead.

My thinking is that this leaves lots of questions for the future.

(1) Does the entire unit find out what happened? If not, how does Danny explain return the money to Chin.

(2) Does Chin get into even more trouble over this, even if he returns the money?

I'm not one for vigilantism IRL, but since this is TV I guess it works.

It wasn't a big fan of the episode also aldo I found it intense to watch some parts of it!!

The rest I was bored to something is missing this season sofar for me and I can't put my finger on it of what it is I can tell one thing I want Grover of the team and send back to the mainland ASAP!!

I have big issues that Danny killed off Reyes he was unarmed so he could have arrest him. Sometimes Five-O forget that they all have taken an oath that they would act according to the law and if I am correct killed off a unarmed man is not in it, For Danny sake I hope that what happend in Columbia stay's in Columbia because if this ever comes out Danny will have to face the consequences. But I also know this is TV and everything can happen on TV right!

I agree Kono had one great scene in the whole episode which is ridiculous blame it to ??? for me I know the answer!!

You so right about Chin this will bite him in the ass later in the season for sure.

Yes you can say that here

I am wondering the same will Danny tell Chin what exactly happend in Columbia which I think he will do Chin is always willing to help his family and friends and Danny knows that.

Yep Chin will get in trouble with the IA again afterall he moved his brother in Law to a safer prison to get money for it in return.

My feelings say's this all will come out in the last few episodes of the season .

I liked this episode very much as well after reall weak previous one. The story with the hitman was a bit cliche but still this actor playing Valentine made it more believable. His ruthless character received new heart not just literally (after transplant) but also metaphorically. After the surgery Mercer became a changed and better man. The death of the heart donor wasn't in vain He could this much and savew at least some lifes. The whole idea with creating "witness protection program" was pretty awesome.
As for the ending - for me it was disturbing but at least H50 is not "politically correct" - their characters have plenty of flaws.

Thanks for the explanation about the server issue.

Funny, I was so shocked by the end of the episode, that I forgot abut the main story line. I really did enjoy it. It was well acted and the guy playing the hitman was excellent. I loved the end scene when all the people whose lives he spared waved at him. I was truly torn as to whether or not they should let him go into hiding with the rest of them. But then he killed dozens others.
