So, there some surprises for me I stopped watching after Nina's last episode so to see that Caroline and Stefan got MARRIED in the "previously on TVD" was a shocker!
I mean I knew they were getting very lovey dovey but wow, Caroline did get her "were planning a June wedding" moment she coined in the first episode of the series

So not only did Elena come back but little miss saucy Katherine made her appearance as well just in time to bring hell to Mystic Falls Nina rocked a wig for each character, she looked incredible!
A beautiful ending I must say, it all sort of comes together in the ways the pilot did (Elena writing in her diary in the graveyard) and then getting a mini reunion with her family in the afterlife

Stefan ultimately sacrifices himself for Elena and Damon, Caroline, everyone in Mystic Falls. VERY sad because through out the finale they are playing with Damon possibly being the one to die so it really made me try to prepare for how I'll feel if either die
But yes, Stefan is the one to die and he gives a beautifully tearful goodbye to Elena and then goes off into the afterlife finding peace with Lexi!

I watched it! The episode was okay.

I'm sad Stefan died! Cool we saw Nina as Katherine and Elena one last time.

I did love the final Stefan and Elena scene the face touch and handholding and his scene with Lexi.

I wish Stefan and Elena/Bonnie & Damon were endgame couples! They should have been should have been end game!

Yay Bonnie lived and was strong and her family was by her side saving the world!

and the diary scenes were good too. It was cool to see all 3 girls together too.

I wished Bonnie and Damon had a scene too since they were best friend he could have hugged her goodbye since she was leaving Mystic Falls.

I found interesting it was Stefan who said the line "I was feeling Epic" which is the title of the episode!

Ian's acting seemed off to me in the Damon & Elena scenes.

One of these days maybe I'll get around to catching up and watching this.

In the mean time, I'm gonna unstick this thread because it's been up for a while now.
