It definitely wasn't for the reasons she gave. I think it had more to do with what she heard the girls saying. The only person who truly wanted Charlotte out was Alison.

OMG! Mona mention. Spencer saw "Mona" and knew it was HER Mona. And Mona wanted to work for Hastings and momma tried to deny their love. It's ST all over again. Spencer is UPSET. She was so close to Mona.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way. I feel like they are still teens trying to play grown ups. Or that they are fresh out of college and not settle in careers, but still trying to find their way in the world. I guess it doesn't help that we spent 5 1/2 seasons watching them as teens and all of a sudden they are suppose to be 23.

I think Mona meant it not only as a belittlement but maybe as a warning? Be carefully Spencer we aren't teens in high school anymore. Getting caught doing something like that can have serious consequences.

I don't even think it's that they seem fresh out of college and unsettled. For me it's that they're still being written exactly the same. They're still being written as impulsive teenagers that don't subscribe to any form of rational logic.

I wish it was Mona calling her out on her still acting like a child, but I doubt the writers even notice, tbh
