Mona is a great example of the classic movie/tv trope about the "nerdy" girl who only has to take off her glasses and let her hair down to be gorgeous.Heck,NERDY Mona was adorable ! |

I liked nerdy Mona too. I actually think she's back. After Alison's death, I don't think we really saw Mona showing off her intelligence and she just acted like a real popular girl. But now that she's back in school, seeing her against Spencer as the captain of the debate team makes me think, "She wasn't like this before. Maybe her nerdy side is coming back." And maybe, just possibly, that nerdy side of her we're seeing is a hint that she's good now, but starting to turn away from A. Since she did seem to apologize to Hanna to Aria I believe and spoke to Hanna in code plus the picture of the four plus Mona in the finale makes me believe she's really going to end up on their side and double crosses the A Team instead of Toby

Really, I don't trust Mona for a second. I see her as an act. She's trying to be the old Mona who was just innocent and sweet and this one is just vindictive and vengeful. She wants nothing but to make the Liars. I cannot see the nerdy Mona ever coming back
