The Pretty Little Liars board on FanForum officially opened on June 30th, 2010, soon after the show first premiered on ABC Family. Much like the show, this board has been a breakout hit over the years, racking up many milestones in so few years. The PLL board consistently gains over a thousand (and often, over two thousand) posts a week, earning it over 200,000 posts in less than two years. But it's not just the board's post counts that matter -- it's the posters. The PLL board is always active, fun, and engaging, thanks to so many dedicated posters. Even after two years, the board is still growing and is as active as ever.

What can I say? I love this board. I love, love, love, love, love this board. This board is the first thing I check in the morning when I wake up, and it's the last thing I check in the evening before I go to bed. My day literally begins and ends here, on this board. And I have loved every minute of it. Even though there have been times when this show and I haven't been getting along, I still loved the board. I love the posters here -- especially my lovelies in the Emily/Alison thread, who were first and foremost the reason I came to this board (and stuck around).

Our livechats are sensational. Our episode discussions are amazing. I love arguing and debating with people. I love going 'OMG YES' and just wanting to hug everyone on the board. I love being able to see people who ship competing ships being able to be civil together in neutral places. Believe me when I say, that is a rarity not only on FanForum, but on the internet in general. We all like who we like and we all ship who we ship, but when we're posting in the livechat/episode discussion thread, none of that matters. We're all here for the same thing: our perfect show. And that's just so wonderful.

This is a celebration of two years on FanForum. But it's a celebration, too, of all the posters who've ever come to post on this board. It doesn't matter if you posted once and never came back or settled down here and plan on sticking it out until the very end (and maybe even after that!). Every. Single. Poster. Matters here. This board wouldn't have even existed in the first place if not for the posters -- and it continues to exist because of YOU. You are the reason this board has been what it's been.

I can't believe it's been only two years. It feels like I've been friends here with some of you for much, much longer than that. And I love it. I love that we are a family here. This board is simply a joy to moderate -- and I'm more than proud to be a mod here. So thank you all for everything that you've done, and let's look ahead to the future ...

It's been 2 years already! I wasn't here when this board started, but when I started to visit the board I felt welcome and I love to talk to the people who loves the same things as me. I love reading the episodes thread after I watch the episode. The comments are always fun to read and I can't wait to read more awesome things on this board! Thanks to all the amazing people!

I have only recently got into PLL as soon as I started S1 I was hooked. When I came here to discuss the new episodes to me but old to you guys, you all welcomed me. I feel like I can come here and talk about my favourite characters and couples with people who share the same interests. All of the moderators are so warm and welcoming. All the people on the Spencer and Toby thread are amazing and I feel part of the PLL community already in such a short about amount of time and that is thanks to everyone here being so amazing!

I haven't been on the board for that long, but I've loved it since I first started posting here. I've always found it to be a friendly and welcoming board, and I think that this is probably a large part of why I enjoy coming on here so much. This board has helped me through every hiatus there has been since I began watching the show, and given me a place to discuss everything in detail with people who actually know what I'm talking about. This board is the first place I come to when I turn on my laptop, and the last place before I turn it off. I couldn't ask for better people to discuss the show with.

Two years on I just can’t believe we've had our little haven for two years and our show is on Season Three. What a milestone for Pretty Little Liars, the actors, crew, and fans. I love the community and atmosphere of fandom and our precious board. The actors and crew give us amazing writing and performances and tweets and pics. They keep us going throughout hiatuses.

And the fans and posters at the board…you make me want to watch the show as soon as I can and run 'home' to gush about the mystery and Spencer and boys and Spencer and Hastings and Spencer and mystery and Spencer and flashbacks and Spencer. And I feel like I'm ALLOWED to just throw it down and have a bitchfest about how STUPID our Liars are most half the time. Because they're not perfect. And we all understand that. And being allowed to express our feelings is what makes the board so warm and friendly and awesome.

We all have different favorite characters, favorite relationship, characters we aren’t big fans of, relationships we don't care for. But, we love the mystery and friendships and the girls and mystery and the Liars and flashbacks and the story, that it doesn't matter about the things we disagree on. Because we discuss in friendly, polite discussions. We make each other think about plot points we didn’t see before. We put clues together and are involved in the mystery. We watch the Liars try to solve the mystery, but we're our own group, working to solve the puzzles. We're family.

Here’s to another two years and two seasons. Here's to a great board and show. Here’s to friends and family and mystery and Spencer. I love you all!

It's hard for me to pick my most memorable time at this board, because this board was the first board I really posted on consistently. I broke 1K on this board (crazy to think that was only 2 years ago!) and some of my closest friends are on this board. I'll always remember the craziness of the Emily/Toby and Spencer/Wren thread, and the friends I've made through that thread. Both of those threads had me staying up until odd hours in the morning posting the craziest and funniest things. Most recently though, I adore this board's liveposting in the episode discussion thread. I love how intelligent every poster is on this board and how insanely detailed and crazy our theories can get! I just love everything that this board is, and I am honored to have the privalege of currently modding it!

Time flees! Two years ago, when PLL took place on ABC Family, I just watched it to see its actresses as the attitude I held towards other teen shows and dramas, but after a few weeks I found myself deeply obsessed with its epic plots! PLL deserves to be the Top 1 on ABC Family. Unlike the gossipy and mean high schoolers on other teen shows or the typical mode of good versus evil on other dramas, PLL's core 4 have absolutely outstanding personalities ---- imo, Spencer, with a classic and elegant beauty, is bossy and sophisticated; Aria is the most adorable one who sticks in a long time relationship which is unethical and controversial yet stable and firm; Emily, the tallest and prettiest one, finds herself as lesbian and suffers a lot; and Hanna, "the dumb blond" to some extent, is girly and dull but always cares about others with her kindness and grace. They were once separated from each other without their leader, but the old secrets they share and the new threats they face bond them together again. But above all, Alison is always my favorite character although with so little screen time. It is so incredible that Sasha, with her wicked yet saccharine smile, is a teenage girl as a teenage girl on a teen show where other roles of high school students are all played by adults over 20. Without a doubt, although her character passed away, the flashbacks with her apparence are definitely the most mesmerizing parts all the time! As a slightly quirky guy who, with a little sociopathic tendency, barely talks to others in reality --- where no one else watches this show, I feel so happy to have such a nice place to anonymously and freely share my feelings on PLL with other fans on this board! It's been an amazing experience. Thanks for Marlene King that brings forth such a spetacular show on ABC Family and congratulations to the celebration of the 2nd anniversary thread! My gratitude.

WOW! I cannot believe that the PLL board is celebrating it's 2 Year Anniversary! It only seems like yesterday that I was watching the premiere and joining the campain to try and get a board. So much has happened for PLL during the 2 years it has been on air. It has become a world wide phenomenon and the cast have become house hold names. I think we could all go on for pages about why we love PLL but Im only going to list a few. The writers constantly have us on our toes with the mystery and suspense. You can tell that they have planed the big reveals in advanced. PLL has one of the best casts on TV. Seriously how is it possible for everyone to have chemistry with each other?! Another reason I love PLL is because of the super realistic characters. You would think that with all this over the top drama that the characters would be one dimensional and fake. Not on PLL! Nearly everyone can relate to someone on this show. Whether it be Hanna's body issues, Aria's family troubles, Spencer's urge to be the best or for me Emily's struggle with her sexuailty. Not only has the show been through a lot but the members of the PLL board have too. During the past 2 years the members of this board have become such a strong connected family. We all support each other and are always there when someone needs to talk. We have been through so many ups and down but I know in the end we all have each others backs. I can not tell you guys how much of a blessing its been to know you all. The PLL board is seriously the first board I go to when I get on the computer. We have so many inside jokes and we love our countdowns. Congrats again on 2 years and heres to many more fantastic years!

I joined fan forum in February of this year after lurking for many years, mainly for the Pretty Little Liars forum. Everyone seemed very nice and and welcoming. There didn't seem to be the infighting that you see in many fandoms. I'm a huge fan of the show and would love to post in every thread but, unfortunately don't have the time. It doesnt help that PLL is the best show with the prettiest cast in the world. I spend most of my time in the Paily, Shay and Lindsey threads. My favorite thing is commiserating with my fellow Paily fans. We have so much fun.

Just wanted to say that I'm so glad I joined and started posting here, it helped me get through some tough times personally, and I've made some great friends here.

This perfectly describes how I feel about our PLL board. Even though I don’t post as regularly as before and there have been times I was away, I always have a soft spot for this board. It is without a doubt my most favourite and where I have found my best FF friends. We have fangirl’d, we have laughed, we have cried, we have whined for almost 2 years and I cherish all the memories. So let’s raise our glasses to this kick-ass show, to our awesome board, to 2 amazing years and more to come.
