I love these two and after tonight, Mona might have allowed Hanna to desire a real friendship with her again!

I agree! Seriously, this episode was so emotional. I am still crying from back when Mona knew Hanna sort of used going shopping with her as a means to get that chip. Mona knew it. :( But we all know Hanna had a very difficult time finding out about Mona being A. She still cares very deeply for her. It's still there. Mona loves Hanna too much to have allowed her to plead self defense. I think Mona knew Hanna never could have pulled it off but more than that, Mona didn't want Hanna to go through that for even a second. I loved that little smile Mona gave the Liars as the blinds were closing. It was directed at Hanna as to say "I've got this, friend" and it's simply amazing. :love:

I kind of think that their friendship in the past, even if they shared a lot, was pretty messed up overall. There was real caring, of course, but when Mona felt like the Liars took Hanna away, they lost having anything real at that point. I feel like in a way, they have a chance to truly be friends again now that everything is out in the open. I believe Mona's attempt to save Ashley and help Hanna is a huge start for them. I also have yet to see one shred of evidence that Hanna has stopped caring for Mona. If anything, her feelings for her increased after finding out she was mentally disturbed and A. I think Hanna still really cares about Mona, I know Mona cares for Hanna, and I believe they can build something together in the future when this dramatic mess is all over with.

I love them. :)
