Arthur and Gwen seriously had one of the most amazing build ups.
 I wish their marriage could have been fleshed out more, but they still made one stunning couple. |

I guess because the show is focused on Merlin a lot of the Arthur and Gwen stuff takes place in the background. I'm okay with that. It is Merlin's show. But he always wanted them together and happy. He knew that their marriage was good for Camelot.
