Ugh, I LOVED the Polis and Clarke/Lexa stuff this episode.

Clarke was desperate to save Lexa's life, even risking her own to poison the Ice Queen and trying so hard to stop Lexa. Her worried looks throughout the fight were everything and the final scene was perfect.

Clarke teased Lexa! And they both smiled! In their pajamas! With candlelight!

I loved all of it.

"Then this is goodbye ... for now." has to totally be a future title, maybe even our next one because it totally reinforces how they are SOULMATES. Lexa, about to fight and face possible death says goodbye to Clarke in a way that says she believes they will see each other again, no matter what the outcome is, because she believes her soul will be reincarnated and reunited with Clarke's. :bawl: It's so perfect.

Also I got so emo earlier thinking about how out of all the places in the world, Clarke and the rest of the 100 landed right where Lexa was.

Oh dear jesus. That fight scene. I knew tge Queen would die. But it was still amazing. In terms of lexa this episode was so much better.

Clarke trying to do anything but let lexa fight. But lexa's right. Shes never seen her fight. And damn it was good.

That episode was great. I loved all the Clexa scenes.

Lexa is an amazing fighter it's obvious why she was destined to be Heda :sigh: She had wisdom, strength snd compassion.

I'm watching the episode again and how Lexa looks to Clarke after the fight and the look on Clarke's face, she is so overwhelmed. But that closeup of her fave and the crowd chanting "Heda" was so cinematic. The entire fight sequence was like something out of a blockbuster film. Great stuff!! The other storylines suffered by comparison tbh.

Lexa's face after aiden pledges to keep Skaikru safe. Lexa looks so oroud of herself. She's literally like look what I did for you Clarke. I made the baby squids swear fealty to.

Ok so I'm watching their last scene and what srikes me is Clarke saying she backed Lexa up because she did it for her people and Lexa looks somewhat disappointed or deflated. And right after Clarke asks how Lexa is going to move forward, having been betrayed by her ambassadors and she says "They were doing what they believed was right for their people too." I think Lexa is subtly referring to her own betrayal at Mount Weather too. That she'll move on and realize that they did what they thought they had to do and that it wasn't personal. Maybe hinting that Clarke should do the same. Clarke's reaction after she says that is telling. She abruptly ends the conversation. You can see that she is still not 100% over Lexa's betrayal. Maybe a part of her is still scared to trust and love. But she'll come around.

Just a thought.

I loved Aden's face after the fight too. He looked so proud. Lexa is someone he can look up and one day (a long long long long time from now) emulate as a leader of his people.

Yeah I agree. But Clarke wasnt running around trying to save lexa for her people. she wanted lexa safe. I think lexa looked a little down because she doesnt know what we do. The lengths Clarke went to for lexa. And thinks it was just out of duty

But yet again calrke never mentuons are befire during any argument. I cant watch you die. I need you. Lexa just hoped she would say it.

Though I can't wait for the moment that tgey kiss again. "im doing this for my people. This sex scene is dedicated to raven, abby this kiss goes out for you. Marriage, okay Kane, just for you."

And yeah it was obvious that she cared so much about Lexa's well being. She literally says "This is not just about my people."

So I hope Clarke stays on Lexas side and doesn't side with Pike and Bellamy.

It would be ridiculous of Clarke to side with Pike and Bellamy at this point. It goes against everything she's been fighting for.
