I mean, it's fine if you love Pike and want to defend him, but he was portrayed as a villainous character so don't be surprised when people don't like him and aren't sad he's dead. Plus he was in the show for like, one season.

Lincoln was a beloved character and was a part of the show since day 1, and got executed in a puddle of mud by Pike, for no reason. So please, forgive us if some of us don't like Pike that much.

Actually, Lexa killed the guy in the bottom left for similar reasons to why Pike killed Lincoln, so I'm still not sure what this image is trying to show us.

Yeah, the show didn't want us to sympathize with him which was a bit ridiculous considering they went out of their way to redeem Dante but it is what it is, Pike is not supposed to be loved and supported by the audience.

I don't mean to bash Lexa, I'm sorry to say it but it's the truth and you subconsciously know it, Lexa was only there for Clarkes character devoplment, I'm sorry but it's true

Exactly Lexa killed the guy in the bottom left for similiar reasons to why Pike killed Lincoln, so why is the Lexa the lesser evil when Lexa did the exact same thing?

They pointing out that Gustus did it, it looked weird with text on it and just having 3 pictures would have been even werider,

Pike had a legitimate reason, where would Sinclair,Kane and Lincoln gonna take Pike ? The answer is Lexa, and what would she have done with him? Pike did not kill Lincoln without a reason

I don't know why you keep bringing up Lexa, a lot of us criticized her decisions when she was still on the show but she's been gone for 1,5 seasons, so we don't discuss that anymore unless somebody brings it up.

Pike might have had a reason to not trust the grounders, nobody is denying that, but that doesn't excuse his actions, I just can't excuse away committing genocide or executing a peaceful person. You can believe Pike was in the right but we don't have to agree. Just accept that we have different opinions, you shouldn't feel attacked whenever we don't agree with you.

IMO Pike's reason for killing Lincoln was pretty weak. There were other ways he could exert his power without putting a bullet in the head of someone who had been peaceful.

Lexa had to kill Gustus because he was a trusted ally who went behind Lexa's back and tried to poison Sky People. They have their customs and their ways and that's what she was sticking to. Obviously it was terrible to watch and we the viewer should feel badly for Gustus. He did it because he wanted to protect Lexa and thought she was in danger.

Lincoln sacrificed himself to save his people, and Pike killed him in cold-blood (this article here is pretty agreeable IMO).

So similar reasons (betrayal/treason/whatever according to the person in charge), but not the same.

PS Adam-you saying Lexa was only there for Clarke's development is not bashing, that's an opinion. You don't have to love every character, of course - that's why we're here to discuss them and tastefully/respectfully tell eachother why we agree or disagree.

It bugged me since I watched the finale

I mean I get that they needed to fix the air and did so in under 60 seconds

But without heat, they'd freeze to death in no time in space, right?
