That quest with Jaha did provide such epic quotes.

I loved the lines Murphy had during that whole trip

CanIcallYouKate 01-04-2018 05:28 AM

That was a gold mine for epic Murphy one liners

I've said it before and I'll probably save it again: He was the best part of the search for the City of Light plot.

Damocles 01-04-2018 09:17 AM

I think he provided some much-needed humour there, it would have been meh to just see Jaha dragging randoms around to find the CoL. Having Murphy there questioning him and making wise cracks kind of amped up the storyline.

Absolutely agree! And like Lisa pointed out, he gave some humor to the storyline, and honestly . . . he gave us someone to care about and actually be invested in there, as many of us were becoming less and less invested in Jaha (if we ever were to begin with.)

Yeah, Murphy's sassy comments are probably the only thing that can keep me interested in a storyline that is 99% just walking through the dessert

Damocles 01-04-2018 07:44 PM

The people blowing up would have been fun additions, but without his comments they wouldn't have been SO entertaining

:lmao:

“Wash off the rest of Harris.” :P

His commentary is always needed in those type of stories.

Totally :P
On re-watches, I fast-forward the Jaha solo parts
Murphy's sass made that whole destiny quest watchable

April7739 01-05-2018 03:31 PM

I feel like we as the viewers were meant to see that whole storyline through Murphy’s eyes, too.

Damocles 01-05-2018 06:26 PM

I think so too, and not through Jaha's. Murphy was the voice of reason :look:

Alexa 01-05-2018 08:43 PM

Murphy was the rational one lol.

I watched Richard in Bates Motel

He was in four episodes. I vaguely remember him. His name was Richard in this too.

He actually wasn’t THAT bad? I expected him to be rude to Norman at first but he wasn’t at all really… I mean, he didn’t like Bradley talking to him but thats expected seeing she was his girlfriend lol. And he punched him later but Norman had slept with her so…. :look: He wasn’t in much of the series though, maybe like 5 minutes total lol. It said he was in 201 but I didnt see him there.
