Checking Twitter reactions and Bellarkers are simultaneously mourning canon!Bellarke while cheering Bob on ... I personally don’t think this means that idea is completely dead in the water (yet) but also, it’s best to keep expectations low as we are fully aware of.

I was very confused entering this thread for sure. But I've been following twitter these past few days and Bob Morley, once again, my hero. I don't think it to mean anything about Bellarke in season 7, personally, since I doubt Bob even knows by now anything about it. It's just a response (a valid one) to Jason and I love him.

Also, someone (but mostly Becks) needs to link me to the full picture of Becks' icon. I came across it on twitter but figured I'd save it when I got home and now I forgot who posted it.

Yup, I have to admit that I was depressed over it last night whilst happy that Bob actually said it (bless this man, he doesn’t give any ***** anymore) but apparently, he would have known for a while as to his storyline this season because it’s discussed before writers start working on scripts ... so he is most likely reacting to the interview when he was probably given very different instructions on how to play Bellamy during Bellarke scenes. We know how good Bob and Eliza both are ... if they’re not supposed to play two people who have feelings for each other, it won’t come across onscreen that way.

Sharon, Beliza being canon takes the sting off a bit but I’m going to still be pissed about no Bellarke endgame as much as I tell myself to not expect anything from Jason/these writers anymore. Oh well, I’m ride or die for this ship so I guess that I’m going down with it, no matter what.

Yep, this is what I think, too. We know from years of experience that, even just as fans of the show, Jason tends to make us feel crappy. (Kim now, too.) I can only imagine how crappy that would make Bob feel as the actor portraying Bellamy.

Not gonna lie, even me, the eternal optimist . . . even my hopes have been diminished a lot. Not because of anything I’ve seen on screen (that all still screams romance to me), but because of Jason and this vendetta he seems to have against us. I’m not gonna give up hope, but I’m not gonna get my hopes up, either. And I’m just gonna enjoy Bob and Eliza, Conageddon, and my fandom friendships.

Exactly! That's also what sometimes bothers me when people now put shipping Bellarke on Beliza and making it all about Beliza letting their feelings shine through. It's such a disservice to their acting talent. The fact that there's no real romantic chemistry between Josephine and Bellamy is a huge example of this.
