Season 2, Octavia became a bad-ass warrior. She trained, learned how to fight. Wouldn't give up.
Season 4, she wasn't bad-ass (I'm not saying there weren't bad-ass moments

).

You and I were among the few people who didn't hate the scene where she beats up Bellamy after Lincoln's death.
I just wasn't digging the dark route they gave her character this season, killing people off

I still think there was a reasoning behind it - she was just too/so far gone because of her grief - but I didn't agree with it.

I get that a lot of it is due to her grief/pain and essentially losing the two people who are closest to her, Lincoln (physically) and Bellamy (mentally, because of his role in Lincoln's death) but yeah, her killing random people as part of her duties at Polis didn't sit well with me either.

I think the intention was to show that she had no more ****s to give, right?
That even becoming a numb killer for hire didn't faze her?

That is how I took it anyway.

I mean there is a lot of vacant staring, being nasty to Bellamy, almost executing Ilian...
But she did seem to snap out of it in the end, let's hope she will heal over the 6 years in the bunker and not give in to her worst instincts
