Their scenes last week were great. Indra has so much faith in her. I read some opinions that Indra was trying to influence her though ... that if Skaikru won, that they'd let Trikru into the bunker at least. Thoughts? I'm not sure if Indra had ulterior motives, she seemed genuine to me but I don't know ... I feel like she does have faith in Octavia but may have been subconsciously trying to influence her too??

Indra was always shown to value hierarchy and tradition, so she listens to Octavia now, who kind of became a leading figure after the conclave.

Indra was always encouraging and supporting her. She might have come across as harsh sometimes but it made Octavia the warrior she is today.

The relationship between Octavia and Indra has been such a highlight. What have you most enjoyed about exploring that dynamic?

AVGEROPOULOS: I love Adina Porter as a woman and friend, and mentor, as well. She’s such a strong person and so great to be around, and she’s incredibly talented. I think that translates to our relationship on screen, as well. Octavia and Indra have almost become closer than Bellamy and Octavia have because Indra has always supported her and believed in her, during the moments that Bellamy did not. I don’t want to give too much away or give any spoilers, but Octavia finds herself in a very powerful position this season, and Indra really supports her in the moments when she feels really vulnerable and needs to be encouraged.

Yup, it seems harsh at times but Octavia thrived under her guidance. Though I'm still torn on Indra's behaviour around Octavia in the last episode ... I do think that it was her way of supporting Octavia in the best way she thought possible.
