Yes, I think he mentioned him when he was being interviewed by Kass Morgan on set.

Also some tweets mentioning him:

I love how he's so passionate about reading. I've never read any of Murakami's books :look: but I definitely need to rectify that.

And that's also a lovely tweet, Yvonne. I can't wait to see them all at the con. :yay: Thanks for bringing those over, guys.

Love that tweet about Dragon Con. Good to see him excited about the con. :)

ahh, yes please do Sarah, you won't regret it (I hope).

If I had to pick one writer for the rest of my life, he'd be the one.

Murakami? I'm so out of the loop here.

I'm soooooo envious of all the people that get to go to Dragon Con this weekend. I would LOVE to go. :sigh: At Wizard World I talked to a few girls who said they'd been to Dragon Con before, and they said it was a pretty huge event.

Hopefully Bob and the rest of the cast have fun!

One of these days, Bobby boy . . . one of these days, you'll be meeting April, a.k.a. one of your smuttiest fans! :fingers_crossed:

Wow, he must be a fantastic author then. :sigh: I hope I'll have the same reaction once I read his books. :D

A Bellamy explosion sounds amazing. :sigh:

From the last thread ... finally replying  :

Why do you think the writers chose Bellamy as the character for that season 3 storyline? Why not utilize another character for it?
Alexa:

As for the question, i think they wanted to use a character that had a "bad" side in them (at least partly bad that we saw from season 1) so it wouldnt feel unrealistic, but also wanted to use someone that they felt was important.

had they used say, jasper for that role, i think most people would never be able to forgive him and/or understand where he was coming form. but bellamy has a lot of support so i think they were hoping it would be controversial but people would understand it.

i think like bob said they intended for it to be more of a plot than it ended up being. sadly i think we got jipped a lot of key scenes around that storyline.
I agree, Alexa. My further comments on this ... there were a couple of factors why using Bellamy for that plotline worked better but unfortunately, they jipped us on the execution of it. Also, it doesn't help that some quarters were just waiting to hate on Bellamy so this unfortunately gave them an avenue to say they were right all along when I really disagree with that POV.

Of course . . . perhaps the character could have been written differently in a way that made her have a bigger impact despite a small amount of screen time. Or, in an ideal world, the pacing could have been better and we would have had a little more time to get to know her before she died.
For sure, that would have worked better.

And I think the entire cast is incredibly talented, but Bob is just so top-notch all the time.
Couldn't agree more.

Usually shows fill in the gaps with flashbacks after they do a time jump, would have helped if they did it here too. Not just with their relationship but also showcasing anybody feeling uncertain about the coalition with the Grounders.
 That would have worked SO much better in giving the audience an insight as to why the Arkers would have taken such a drastic decision to make the first move on the Grounder army.

Part of a text post I read today that fits the current discussion:
This was a great text post, thanks for sharing. :) Definitely agree with it, this will be one of those storylines that will always be a sore point in the show for me, sadly.

Karma Police 08-31-2016 09:55 AM

That's a lot of Bellamy. I'll take a picture of the shop I mentioned the other day. :P

 Them not trusting the Grounders is one thing - they didn't trust them when they first came to their camp either - but after three months it just seemed extreme to not even hesitate to kill 300 of them.

Nothing substantial here, just fan art. :D

I like the red coloring on this:

ETA: Whoa, didn't realize it was so huge. :eyebrows: This sounds dirty. Anyway . . . Under the spoiler cut because of size.

Damocles 08-31-2016 06:43 PM

Ooh, that's cool!

But his face in the middle picture is agonising :bawl:

destroyer of worlds 08-31-2016 06:50 PM

Can't wait to see the picture, Paulina. :D

Wow, that's a lovely art, April! His face ... :bawl:

Damocles 08-31-2016 07:05 PM

His face pokes my heart like a toothpick :bawl:
