I was conflicted with his actions in S1 and S3, but not in the last episode

If he would have forced Madi to take the flame, then I would have problems with Bellamy, but he let Madi decide on her own if she wants to take the flame and if Octavia didn't wake up in time, then Madi as commander would have been the best option to save everyone

Nothing wrong with that, though, Sarah. I think he’s supposed to. I think that’s the point. Bellamy’s always made questionable decisions, some we support, some we don’t, and some that leave us feeling conflicted to this day. He wouldn’t be the Bellamy we know and love and spend so much time analyzing if he was always right. And I do think he has been pretty right so far this season. So to see him make a decision that’s debatable is interesting to me. The only way I would have labeled him as completely wrong in this episode is if he would have lied to Madi and said Clarke was okay with it or if he’d forced it on her.

Yup those were a tad corny, plus the entire speech he gave Octavia back when he was trying to defend Echo (when he was chasing after her) and I know there are like 2-3 more I noticed but of course can't remember now

Not sure if I agree that he's been pretty right all season but I generally agree with your other points. I'm just thinking back to hearing Bob talk about how he was struggling to understand Bellamy this season and I sort of wrote that off as people being unreasonable and finding Bellamy OTT because of the whole Becho thing, but I'm thinking now that THIS is what Bob was referring to. He's struggling with articulating Bellamy's actions/mindset this season, and that's where a lot of us are having issues with and feeling conflicted at the moment as well. IMO anyway.

And I would be truly angry at Bellamy if he had lied to/forced the Flame on Madi so I'm glad that wasn't the case.
