O, Jo, and Russell have all explicitly called out Bellarke's love for each other. Countless other characters have called out their feelings in other ways.

And perhaps most importantly, numerous people have called out the fact that they are each other's weakness. Put the other in danger and they will slaughter armies and doom the human race to keep the other safe.

Love is too weak of a word for what they have.

They don't just love each other, their entire existence is tied up with the other's. One cannot live without the other.

That's why antagonists threaten one to get to the other.

That's why even though Bellamy loves his family, he leaves them in danger to save Clarke without hesitation.

That's why Bellamy cried for Marper but lost his damn mind over Clarke.

That's why he tucked away his heart and learned to merely live on the ring. That's why she called him every day, she needed to hope that he was coming back.

That's why when Clarke died, he specifically said they'll survive - not live. Clarke's not alive so neither is he.

They are each other's other half and life simply doesn't exist unless they're together. Which is why they'll always get each other back or die trying. Because either way, if they fail, they stop living.

So Bellamy's "I'm not gonna let you die" is more powerful than "I love you" could ever be.

They didn’t have to show him grabbing her arm, but you know . . . they did. We’re making choices, aren’t we, show? We’re making deliberate choices. ;)
