Season 1! She was so sassy and her lack of respect for authority was the best. Also I liked her braid.


2. Do you feel like the character had sufficient growth/development in season 4?

No. I think there was potential for some interesting development with everything that happened in the lab, but I didn't feel like it was fleshed out for Abby as well as it could have been

S3 - I like it, that Abby and Kane become a couple in S3 and I loved their epic Kiss in 3x09 :sigh:

I was disappointed that Abby has decided to die in 4x12 instead of taking her spot in the bunker ... I wouldn't have thought, that Abby is a quitter ... not a good character development :no:

2. No. I really loved her helping Bellamy escape from the bunker and I understood her destroying the air chamber to "save" Clarke but for the most part, it was not the best season in terms of Abby's character development.

Agreed. It was a great concept and had potential to highlight Abby but it just never panned out quite well in that area.

Definitely disappointed too but I try to remember that sometimes people do not make the best decisions when they're feeling distressed/sad/angry/frustrated with themselves and I think that was the case for Abby.

I actually didn't mind this decision so much. I would've been pretty mad if she actually had died, and I do agree that it's not very smart for the only doctor to sacrifice herself. But at the same time, it seems unfair for the group in charge to expect others to die without a fight when they know they're safe. So even if I don't think it was a smart decision, I actually admire that she wasn't willing to value her life above someone else's.

Agreed. It's easy to make these rules when you KNOW that you are safe, quite another to be one of the regular folk/non-essential people who are deemed more expendable. She was being selfless even if I thought that ultimately, it's more important for the people in the bunker to not lose their only doctor.

This is how I saw it too. :nod: I was kind of hoping that Kane would be able to convince her that she was needed in the bunker, but I guess I'm grateful that she at least survived

Mmm season 1 I think, I thought her character was so awesome. She wasn't taking crap and was very honourable, useful and smart.

I don't think much happened to Abby in terms of development this season.
