It was quick but also, I understood why he forgave her that fast. He thought that she didn’t care anymore but it turned out that she cared more than he thought. Definitely still agree that there weren’t enough emotional payoff this season which still enrages me. Honestly.

Thanks for that, Yvonne! Bellarkers are such scrappers, we didn’t get enough this season so we made our own scenes for them. It’s awesome.

this is so right bc if i remember well the two times bellamy got pissed off were when clarke left him over lexa and now in season 5 and for them both he though she did not care about him back...his love for her is kind obvious (let me remind u that almost everyone, jaha, murphy, kane already talked about bel loving clarke) so i really appreciate octavia declaiming that once and for all... the doubt is always clarke, she cares but do she love him? i think is obvious as well she loves him too we have so many things to prove it but the writer hinself says they are non romantic
its a great show but is disrespectiful to approach everything that happened between them just as a bait ...i really have hope that jason is a very intelligent man and he will pairing them as romantic in book 2 he knows its about time


and i love this scene so much bc my love for clarke is based on the fact she never submit herself she always do what she needs to even if its freaking hurtful but here she just cant and she falls apart i dont remember her so vulnerable

Caroline, I agree with what you said to some extent. IMO, Bellamy does wear his heart on his sleeve more than Clarke in the sense that he shows it through his emotions more than she does. Whereas she shows it with words of affirmation, when it comes to Bellamy. However, that has sort of changed in season 5 because you can tell from Clarke's actions just how much she cares for Bellamy and how she reacts to seeing him with Echo etc (disregarding the later part of season 5, that is ).

i have this epiphany right now i dont know if someone already said that but bellamy acted like clarke and clarke acted like bellamy in season 5

in season 2-4 we saw bellamy reactions over clarkes fellings for lexa and now we see clarkes reaction for bellamys feelings for echo
bellamy always was the one protective and clarke was the one who did what she have to even when others were rejecting it but season 5 bellamys poisoned octavia and put the flame in madi without clarkes permission and clarke being more moderate and protective (just like the gifset) with the central issue but doing everything she could to save madi just like bellamy used to do with octavia what do u think?? i know we have the head and heart situation but they were in reverse mood all the way jaja

Caroline, I do agree that there was generally a role reversal in season 5 ... it was surreal to see Clarke as the "pining" one (maybe not the exactly right word?) when Bellamy was exactly that in season 4 too. They both acted irrationally in season 5, but probably moreso Clarke.

Clarke has definitely always loved Bellamy, IMO. This season, it was so obvious that it isn’t just a friendship type of love. Her feelings were quite blatant, I feel. The writers just kind of dropped the ball around 5x10-5x12 with her story. But not with Bellamy. I feel like most of the season 5 episodes were great for Bellamy.

April, your video for your new fic was really well made. It looked intriguing.

I too also thought that Bellamy was mainly upset with Clarke because of his belief that it seemed she didn't care about him. That his love wasn't returned, even if it was just platonic love from her, in his mind. I hope we get some good Bellarke convos in the new season.
