I don't know, it's like... When you grow up and look back, there was never really a reason for Jace to be so enchanted by Clary (I mean, it's not like she was Lily's Clary, who had a slightly stronger personality and self asssurance), but you still love the context itself, the incest. Then when they take that from the pairing it's just another one. I am currently in love with Lady Midnight, though, especially Blackstairs.
