Brittany Robertson as Lux

Britt Robertson stars as 15-year-old Lux, a wise-beyond-her-years foster kid who decides to track down her birth parents in an effort to become an emancipated minor, but finds a new beginning instead, in The CW's midseason drama "Life UneXpected."

Robertson's feature film credits include "Dan in Real Life" and "Keeping Up with the Steins." Later this year, she will also be seen in "Mother and Child," directed by Rodrigo Garcia, starring Naomi Watts and Annette Bening. Her independent films include "From Within" and "Driving Lessons."

Her television credits include CBS Paramount's drama "Swingtown" as a series regular, along with lead roles in the television movies "Jesse Stone: Night Passage" and the critically acclaimed "The Tenth Circle."

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Robertson splits her time between Greenville, South Carolina and Los Angeles, California. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, during the filming of "Life UneXpected."

tftnt, Cristal! Love the title :love:, but we should add Eeyore. :nod: Dang...for only 26 episodes, the girl sure got a lot of nicknames! :lol:

Awww I did! :( but the title was already getting long and I almost couldn't fit those...

This title :love: She really did have a lot of nicknames. Eeyore was super cute. I loved that one.

I definitely agree that the first book was way better than TVD books (which were so bad I couldn't even finish the first book). I just really disliked how the Adam/Cassie connection/love thing was handled. Plus I wanted to scream at Cassie to not be stupid and go along with Faye's blackmailing and just tell Diana the truth. I didn't want my annoyance at those things to transfer to the tv character.

I definitely think the show will be way better and even if I had my reservations about Adam/Cassie in the books, I'm totally giving them a fair shot on the show especially with who's playing them.

She really really did :lol: I didn't realize it until I made that title. I chose it sinceit seems like she's moving on from LUX :(

Ya I know. Its sad to see her move onto other roles because I love her so much as Lux but I'm glad she will be working.

Lisa, Yeah.. I wish I could have knocked some sense into Cassie for being stupid enough to going along with Faye's plans. She was just playing into her hands. It would have been better for her to tell Diana from the very beginning.
I agree. While I do love Adam/Cassie, I do think it could have been handled better.. but I guess with only 3 books.. and short books, LJS had to rush through some things. :rolleyes: But I have faith the Show writers will be able to do them justice

I'll definitely miss her as Lux, but I'm grateful that we'll still get her on our tv screens weekly.

I do wonder if she's going to dye her hair for the show and how it'll be styled. I think she comes off older with straight hair.

I really can't contain my excitement at them working together. I only hope the rest of the casting decisions are as amazing.
