I agree that she doesn't need the locket.
They seemed so in love when they were kissing at graduation! :sigh: I thought it looked like they'd been together for at least a year. I think the basketball scene was the start of a relationship similar to what Cate and Baze had in season 2. I don't think Jones dumped Tasha while she was still in juvie, but I think he was the one to end that relationship. I'd like to think Tasha wasn't mad when they got together, but I don't think that realistic. ETA: Quote:

I really believe that they had been together for quite some time. The basketball scene was probably the start of it all, I'd really like to think that Jones did wait til Tasha was out of juvie to break up with her. I think it is realistic that she wouldn't be mad. At least not to pissed she might have been upset but she probably saw it coming because she knew before how much Jones liked Lux and it was only a matter of time before Lux realized it so I can see her being upset but not too pissed.

I highly doubt she was bitter or angry about it, more like she must've been hurt and felt used. Which is something I kind of dislike about the whole situation :( Jones and Lux make sense I just really, really wish we got just a FEW lines about what happened there.

It sucks for Tasha, but in a way it makes Lux's shocked reaction (or bratty as many put it at the time), in episode 5, to Jones being "into" Tasha seem right. I don't think Jones was actively trying to use Tasha- he was trying to move on and bury his feelings, but unfortunely for Tasha, Jones's feelings for Lux never went away no matter how hard he tried.
I think that's why the Lux/Jones/Tasha triangle reminds me of the Baze/Cate/Ryan triangle. Jones was "Cate" in this triangle, Tasha was "Ryan"- the logical girl, and Lux was "Baze"- the girl who has his heart. |
Ya I doubt he was using her because he was really trying to move on it just sucks that it had to be with Tasha because it does really feel like he was using her even though we know that Jones isn't that kind of guy.
