I need a Shiri fix really bad. I can’t take it much longer. I will take whatever I can get. Elvis Impersonator, Singer/Dancer, Supermodel/Fashion designer.

Anything? Bueller...

If I am not mistaken Shiri chopped it off for a movie role she did just before Lux.

I love how Cate grew on me as a character, I didn't care for her at all in Season 1 and then in Season 2 she became one of my favorites!

Can I say something, and no offence to SMG fans, but Shiri Appleby is SO much more talented as an actress, in my opinion, than SMG, whom I find a bit one dimensional.

I think Kris has said how much he had learnt from Shiri on LUX. She "brought the pain" on Life Unexpected, and we felt with it her. In the penultimate episode of the series (Teacher Schooled) that scene with Lux when they row about eric and Lux tells Cate that she cant stop her seeing Eric and Cate says "yes I can, because I am your mother"

THATS WHAT YOU CALL ACTING! Totally authentic!!!

I hope tv will recognise her and give her a "vehicle" to showcase her talents one day.

I do think Shiri is a great actress but I don't agree about SMG being one dimensional. I think she is amazing as well, I watched her on Buffy for years and she used to be able to make me cry with a look she was that good. She wore her pain on her face, Shiri can do that too and it is so great!

Unfortunately, I think I heard that she is taking a break from acting for awhile.

I don't know how long of a break though. Hopefully not very long. I miss her.
