Yeah, I think I remember that mentioned before but I just find it hard to believe considering what he did to practically every other character too. Because quite frankly, I just about preferred 'a more interesting version' of all the other characters he just about destroyed too. They might not have been as hated, but look at what was happening to even ERica come the end of S2, and I say the proof is in the writing. She was becoming not liked.

I think what's also sad about all the Tyler-hate is that wiith the exception of only a few of us, nobody would have minded all the crapping on Tyler's memory that undoubtly would have ensued in the show's future.

Yeah, under SR's direction, I'm not even sure what kind of fanbase this show was attracting anymore. Clearly, it probably lost viewers like us, who were expecting much more, very early on.

A very superficial/shallow one. Oh, and people who simply watched the show to rip it to shreds and make fun of it.

Yeah, I'll say. It's a sad day when that's all that a show can attract. People were clearly treating it like a sardonic comedy.
