"Father Jack Landry is a passionate priest whose faith in God and religion is shaken by what appears to be the Visitors' salvation of humankind. He is surprised to find himself battling not just for the souls of people, but for their very lives."

The Visitors have a rough effect on Father Jack causing him to question God as well as where his allegiance and purpose lies therefore having to decide if he's a priest or a soldier.

Father Jack's journey between the two worlds is just beginning. His story will be continued in November during season 2.

You're welcome.

I thought the title was a nice line, but I don't think it will hold.

:) TFTNT, Alex. :flowers:

Yeah, I agree about the title. VERY nice sentiment but I'm still waiting to see if it's actually going to hold with this new 'war/soldier' direction. Not likely, I'm afraid. :pout:

I thought they focused a lot on Jack's reaction when Erica helped Hobbes put his coat on. I take it he was jealous?

That's what I thought when I saw it. Why else would they focus on him?? Poor Jack, lol.

Yeah, I think he was jealous too :goof:

~Ross 03-02-2011 05:48 AM

He was... :D They focused a lot on his reaction to that scene!

 Yup, I think so. But I did like how he took it upon himself to confront ERica about her 'change in attitude' and war tactics style. She didn't appear to torn up about what she had to do, even if she had to do it. And the fact that she shot in Kyle's defense doesn't really do it for me because it almost gives me the impression that it's done more for the benefit of the Kyle/Erica hook-up near the end instead of taking a shot back for the 'team.'

I agree with this. I felt that whole situation was a bit forced/ridiculous, to be honest. It's like both of them forgot that Jack was the one that actually knocked the guard down, therefore, he was the one that "saved" Hobbes, and Erica didn't really need to shoot him, since he was already down and would've been incapacitated. But I digress.

I really want to see more of Jack's soldier side, but unlike Erica, I would hope that he didn't lose his compassion/humanity at the same time. I hope we find out more about his past too, if we get a new season. He's an intriguing character, there's so much unanswered about him!
