The first season of FNL is so good. It's incredible. The second season wasn't so good, but it was during the writers's strike and season 3 was awesome again. The great thing about FNL is that they know how to say goodbye to characters.

I love the football genre in general; actual games and movies, etc, so I'm kinda 'wtf' about why I didn't start watching FNL when it came out.

LOL, yeah I had the same experience with a Cook/Effy scene. I got away with the first two seasons, thankfully. Those were pretty intense.
