Watching it now. He did a great job. I liked it when AI started letting contestants play instruments.

Yeah, they started the in Kris' season so I think that's why that season is really really good.

Actually, I believe they started it during the David Cook season. I remember that season with the guitars and pianos, etc.

 My memory is faulty so maybe you're right. I just remember them saying that season 8 was about the performances on instruments. __________________

I believe it was the David season, and David came before Kris. I don't remember instruments during the Jordin season.
I loved it when Kris brought out the keyborads/piano or his guitar. Always a great addition to his vocals. Kris looks great in that picture, and a great performance. I love how he started on the piano.  __________________

No, Jordin's season didn't have instruments that I know for sure.
I love the piano he's using in this it's very old looking but nice and it fits with the song. __________________

The piano is really different but somehow I really love the look of it. It was a nice addition to the AI stage. Great performance by Kris!
I'm listening to 'You Got A Way' right now from his newest album and I can really picture Kris singing this (while playing the keyboards or piano). I hope he does it on stage, live, or wherever sometime in the future. Would be great to watch. Kris did a great job singing 'Vision of Love' on the keyboards during that Kelly show. Let me just bring it over here. __________________

You usually see Kris with his guitar so seeing him work with the keys is something refreshing.
