I didn't actually have pancakes yesterday, I had Baileys instead, it was yummy! And I made a pasta and chicken bake, it was pretty tasty

No pancakes for me, I don't know what "Shrove" Tuesday is, although I am assuming it is another way of saying Fat Tuesday / Mardi Gras.

I googled it, it's a past tense of 'shrive' which means:
'shrive (shrv) v. shrove (shrv) or shrived, shriv·en (shrvn) or shrived, shriv·ing, shrives v.tr. 1. To hear the confession of and give absolution to (a penitent). 2. To obtain absolution for (oneself) by confessing and doing penance. v.intr. Archaic 1. To make or go to confession. 2. To hear confessions.' And a Shrovetide is the 3 days before Ash Wednesday and Shrove Tuesday is obviously the last day of Shrovetide in which we eat pancakes, so it's otherwise known as pancake day __________________
