It's about a lawyer (who's a widowed father of two) in the 30s who has to defend a black man in court. It's told through the eyes of the lawyer's daughter. I really enjoyed it, even tho some parts of it were slow.

I was kinda lame in high school and wasn't very good at turning up to lessons and stuff so I only remember reading Of Mice and Men and Twelfth Night, Of Mice and Men is my favourite just because my English teacher put on voices for all the characters to read it to us __________________
