I may be in the minority but I never really got the gay vibe at all, I must have missed it. I don't mind it of course, I just didn't realise that this was a vibe already there

I think that if they do go that route, Mandella will have a hard time dealing with it, so hopefully it will be with someone that swings the same way, no doubt though that Kat would be there to support her.
