My advice is screw the vids first and have a random go yourself, that's what I did
And the basics are usually involving the gradient tool, I'm not that good at explaining though __________________

Cool, just have a play with all the colourings first so you can see what they're like, then blending will come after that. That's how I did it anyways, I'll ask my friend if she can send me her tutorial that she gave me, she does amazing art and she helped me with my first blending stuff, so if I see her on MSN I'll get it off of her  __________________
