Allison isn't a great mother though. She abandoned her family for another man. I don't see her offering Jenny much comfort in Hudson either.

Well, at this point I'd just like to see her back and see what happens.

People make mistakes .....and besides, shes no worse then Rufus imo.
Maybe she could be redeemed. Crazier things have happened on this show.

Yes, people make mistakes, but I honestly believe there are certain mistakes you can't fix.

And Rufus might not be perfect, but at least he's there.

This show doesn't really care about the redemption of guest characters...heck their regular characters.

I dont think Alison is a great mother either, but I wouldnt say she was AWFUL. I mean, she sees her kids sometimes from what I gather. A lot of divorced parents dont necessarily see their kids all the time. I mean, I only see my dad once every few months or so and I wouldnt say hes a bad father. We dont really know the whole story behind alison.

the books and show are different. and i realize dan took it pretty hard, but jenny always seemed okay.

And its not the mother/daughter best friend thing that i love, its just the relationship between the two, whether they get along or not. Its good tv and good drama.

I love seeing kids with parent issues because its interesting and it makes you feel for the characters because its just a personal topic. And I think if they were to bring alison back, or even just bring her up, they could create some really cool organic storylines that dont have to do with just teens and boyfriends and sex and fashion, ETC. It would give the show a little bit of depth, IMO.



I liked the actress and I liked the character a LOT. The episodes she was on the show were some of my favorite episodes. It was just a fresh dynamic.

Yeah they are. Plus, there was no Rufus/Lilly either.

Jenny kept alot of it inside though. I think it really did affect her. A girl needs her mother, especially during this time of her life.

I just really don't like her that much.

yeah, i figured that! lol.

rufly is so stupid. hence why i prefer alison/rufus. they are both terrible parents, IMO but hey, it works better IMO. lmao.

and yeah, thats the point of having her back, or at least having jenny talk about her issues. it gives her something REAL to different and could explain a lot of her actions in the past year.
