Apparently Matt liked Jen a long time ago (in one of the Season 10 extra clips, I remember him saying, "I had the biggest crush on Jen,") and looking back on some scenes like in this last ep, I can see hints to it. Orrr I could just really be reading into things. Oh well! The J/R moments are cute either way.

Yes, I think that moment is so cute and mirrors how physically comfortable they were with each other in 'reality'. Right after Joey woke up, Rachel ran into his room and asked him to feel the baby kick, then put her hands over his when he did. I think it's awesome that he was the first (aside from her) to feel Emma kicking.

I also don't think the dating rumor is true because I read in a few places that the cast had made a pact not to date. As cute as it would've been for Matt and Jen to have dated, I am actually glad that they all (allegedly) decided not to. I think it was a smart move, overall.

I loved that and his reaction to it (and then how he added to the mood by saying he wasn't wearing pants ), he got so excited about it.

I read that once as well, though I do believe they all had little crushes on each other, and then some of those were written into the show (Art imitates life, you know). Certainly explains why every one of them kissed each other on the show

LOL, good point. I think you're right, it's probably why the writers wrote in so many kisses, and also for laughs (like the Phoebe/Chandler kiss). I'm glad they wrote in quite a few J/R kisses

TOW Ross's Library Book (in Season 7). I like this episode because it started showing Joey developing in wanting a real relationship. At first he treated Erin like his usual one-night stand, then after Rachel and Phoebe got him to go on another date with Erin, he started liking her a lot and then Erin decided she didn't want to get serious with him. I love that Rachel looked so sad for Joey when she found out about Erin, and then she broke the news to him and offered to make pancakes to help him feel better! It's a great J&R ep all around.
