Rachel: Hey!

Joey: Hey!

Rachel: Joey, do you have peanut butter on the back of your head?

Joey: (Touches the back of his head and licks his fingers) Oh man! I thought I got it all!

Rachel: (looks puzzled) How... how... ?

Joey: I was making a peanut butter smoothy, right?

Rachel: uh-huh

Joey: And I couldn't find this little plastic thing (holds up plastic thing) that goes on top of the blender... and I thought... well... how important can that be, right... ? Turns out very!

Rachel: (to herself) Wow... definitely just Drake...

Joey: What?

Rachel: What... how is it going with Drake?

Joey: Oh... I don't think it's going very well...

Rachel: What... that scene I saw was so good!

Joey: Well, I'm feeling really insecure about the one we are shooting tomorrow...

Rachel: Joey, is this that thing that you do when you say you're bad so I'll give you a compliment?

Joey: A little. Yeah no, I really am worried, you know, I mean I have to make it convincing that I'm in love with Olivia.

Rachel: So?

Joey: So... I've never played that!

Rachel: Ooh! Honey, it can't be that hard, I mean, you've been in love before?

Joey: Uh... well... just once... with you...

Rachel: Ok... this could be a little awkward... I'm just going to blow past it... well can't you just use that method actor thing where you use your real life memories to help you in your performance?

Joey: (looks at her for a moment) What the hell are you talking about? ?

Rachel: (shakes her head) Alright, alright look, just uh... just try to remember how you felt when you were in love, and think about that when you're playing the scene.

Joey: (approvingly) Oh! ok, yeah, I think I can do that. Yeah ok, there's this party scene coming up.. and Olivia and her husband are there and all Drake wants to do is grab her and kiss her, but he can't... And that makes me think about all those times when I wanted to grab you and kiss you, but you didn't know so I would just pretend everything was cool, but really, it was killing me.

Rachel: (looks touched) Joey, you never.. you never talked about that before...

Joey: Well.. hey, you know what else I could use? There's a scene where Drake sneaks into Olivia's bedroom, and she doesn't know he's there - which never happened with us! And he knows he shouldn't be there, but he just wants to look at her... you know? (In a romantic voice) And I remember all those mornings before you even put on your make-up, when I would think to myself, my God, she... is... beautiful... (Rachel looks very moved) and it hurts so much, cuz I knew I could never tell you (pauses, while looking at her with sentiment) but it was worth it just to be there looking at you.

(Joey and Rachel continue to look at each other in silence for a while)

Joey: (excited) Thanks dude!!! This is GREAT!!! (leaves Rachel very touched on the couch and goes into his room)

Rachel: Ooh! Honey, it can't be that hard, I mean, you've been in love before?

Joey: Uh... well... just once... with you...

Hmm... I think in terms of JR, it was mostly the two of them and MC combined when it was the guys v the girls when they bet the apartment and there was all that rivalry between them ;)

ETA ~ I just remembered there was that episode near the beginning where Trigger (I think that was his name) made Rachel cry and Joey straight away jumped to her defense. That was the sweetest thing

Oh, yeah, I saw last night the Trigger episode, Joey defending Rachel is really cute I love how he says "he made Rachel cry" awww :sigh:

It's so funny when they're playing the game and the girls get off the couch and the guys go to sit down and they make that swear sign (the one Ross did) to each other:rotfl: best episode of the show imo.

I have to look back at some JR episodes

I've been watching some season 1 and 2 episodes lately, and I've picked up on some subtle moments between them (which are more Jen/Matt but still really cute), like how Joey would be upset about something and she would stand there with her arms wrapped around him :sigh::love:

There were a few different ones where it happened, but I know there's one in S2 where he says he wanted to be a veterinarian until he found out you have to put your hands in cows :rotfl: she was just really sweet with him and always seemed to be the one there to hug him when he was sat down.

I think it was more to do with Jen and Matt's natural chemistry, and it played really nicely into the J/R friendship scenes early on.

Joey: Hey!
Rachel: Hi!

Joey: So, did you err... did you tell Ross?

Rachel: Well, I tried, but then he had a shampoo related emergency. So I guess now it's your turn again.

Joey: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no... I think it's better if you tell him, you know. It's easier for a woman. That way, you know, if he gets mad, all you have to do is go... I didn't mean it. I'm so so--ooory. (he pushes his breasts together from the side)

Rachel: Yeah, 'cause that's what we do.

Joey: Alright, alright, okay, uhm... How 'bout this, how about this? Tomorrow... tomorrow we'll both go and we'll tell him together.

Rachel: Okay, that sounds fair. It just means that once again we can't...

Joey: I know, I know..., but that's okay. I mean, we can control ourselves, we're not animals.

Rachel: No! Of course we can wait. Alright, so I guess that means good night then?

Joey: Yeah! Good night! (they give each other a small kiss on the mouth, and stare at each other for a while)

Rachel: Goo--ood night!
Joey: Good night! (they give each other a kiss again, but this time it lasts longer)

Rachel: Seriously, good night!
Joey: Stop saying good night.
Rachel: Okay.

(Now they kiss passionately... and then Ross enters with Emma. They freeze, pull away and look at Ross who looks like he just can't believe what he's seeing. Joey straightens his shirt, and Rachel says I'm so-oo sorry, and presses her breasts together, just like Joey did before.)

Last night they aired the episode with all the New Years resolutions. Rachel trying to let Joey know she knows about Chandler/Monice without gossping was hilarious :lol:

Joey: "I think I'll go walk in the rain"
Rachel: "Yeah, me too"
Phoebe: "That's weird... I bet they're doing it" :lmao:

I loved that that was her first impression! :lmao:

It was a great episode for J/R :nod:
