I honestly think it is. I know I am biased because I am such a fanatic, but if I try and put my intense liking for the show aside, and just evaluate the material of the show in a very unbiased way, I boldly say that I think it is the best show of all time. The writing was fabulous, the acting was perfection, the storylines were superb, the way the writers had that unique ability to see-saw comedy and drama is something that I have NEVER seen on any other tv show but the brilliant Friends.. The on and off screen chemistry between all six is priceless. The music was so well integrated to the scenes and storylines that it only enhanced everything as a whole. Just everything about this top notch show was nothing short of amazing. And I am so happy to have been a part of this perfection from pilot to series finale during these 10 beautiful years. This show had the whole package.

I think it is too.
i mean, i like a tons of other shows,but Friends is just the best,cause in 10 years they always kept the high quality of the show.They never had a "low" year with crappy storylines or less funny scripts.And the actors were just AMAZING,all of them.The carachters so well developed.
And tough it was the funniest show EVER,they also managed to make us cry few times.So i have to say YES,friends it's the best show of all time.

i definatly think that it is too. I love the show and it was such a big thing when it ended. I think it will go down like a huge time in history. It has made everyone on that show bigger and better. I just think it was the best show ever. I love it

I think its one of the best comedy ever... and I was disappointed that it didn't get nominated this year for an Emmy!

I think the best show ever is BuffyTVS, but the best comedy is definitly Friends, with Seinfield following.

It is a matter of opinion but it is certainly my favorite scripted show of all time. I have alot of favorite shows but Friends is the one I am a fanatic about. I watch at least one episode everyday and quote or refrence something from the show everyday.

In over 50 years of television, I would hesitate to call it the best show of all time. I think it's definitely a top show of its decade and of its genre. It's a bit too early to judge it's place in television history though.

The reason I've loved Friends so much is because it's not just a sitcom. It also has its emotional moments and you really get involved with the characters. And I don't think anyone could watch the programme and not wish they could hang out with the gang I totally agree that Friends is the best programme I've ever watched and I will faithfully watch my Videos and DVDs for the rest of my life

I truly cared about the characters and they seemed so real, it's like they were a part of all our lives for years so it's almost like we know them.

I watched the show from the time I was 13 almost 14, until 23 almost 24. I basically grew up watching the show. That's a huge chunk of time. No other show lasted that long during a period of my life like that.

And also Friends is the show that always makes me feel good and laugh no matter what. I can go through the absolute worst days and feel like crap but Friends never fails to bring a smile to my face or make me laugh. And if laughter really is the best medicine then Friends cured things for all of us in massive doses.

And even if I don't feel like watching anything else, I will watch Friends back to back.

I really did feel like I KNEW all six. May seem weird to think this way but it is true. It was how beautifully written and acted this show was. I almost felt as if I was PERSONALLY sitting at the coffee house with them. Seems but that is how closely I related to these six and how intensely I loved this show.

Thanks! No, I know what you mean, really. When I watch Friends I can get totally wrapped up in it and it's like I'm in their world and I'm really not quite like that with other shows. Other shows I'm watching it but my mind is on something else also.. I mean I really like the other shows, it can be a fav, but I don't get into it as much.
