He looks really great, I still don't think he has changed that much. I didn't realise there was such an age gap between him and his wife.

:lol: I knew she was younger but I didn't realise she was that young in comparison to him.

I find David really interesting in terms of the projects he takes on, Courteney and Matthew have both stayed with TV and David seems to have really tried totally different roles and even ventured more into directing and projects you wouldn't immediately associate him with.

I've always wondered why he worked so hard to distance himself from Ross. I'm not sure if it's a case he felt it would hamper the types of roles he would be offered or if it's just a case of he wanted to clearly make the end of that chapter in his life. I've always been slightly puzzled by it though. :shrug:

He always had a love of theater and directing. I think I also read he wasn't keen on the idea of TV initially, and wasn't sure about taking on the role in Friends. But then of course he did. So I think he probably wanted to go back to what, I guess, he enjoys the most, after Friends, and that chapter of his life, was over.

This makes me think of the time when Rachel was afraid of Emma going to the playground, Ross' line after Rachel seemed to freaked out about him taking their baby girl there was great too:

Rachel: So, what are you gonna do today?
Ross: Well, I was thinking of taking Emma to the playground!
Rachel: Oh my God, what!?
Ross: Like I said I was thinking of taking Emma to the museum of knives and fire!
