A couple of years ago when the Joey/Rachel relationship was heating up, there was animosity between the Joey and Rachel shippers and the Ross and Rachel shippers due to the number of threads that were being gone through. The shipper thread wars led to star posting to try to finish threads and not as much discussion. Added to that were the server crashes which deleted threads, leaving those who came back to speculate on what number they were actually on. So we just decided not to number our threads. The number doesn't really matter anyway, so it's not a big deal.

I'm going to edit the title a bit to make it a little more obvious to newcomers that this is the Chandler and Monica thread, but I definitely love the quote
