I loved the first 3 seasons of Lost. IMO, the Lost writers became complacent once they were guaranteed 3 final seasons of 16 episodes and the show's quality declined with every new season as a result.

I think there were too many episodes for the amount of story that they had. I like the new trend for fewer episodes in a season.

Agreed. That was definitely one of the issues the show was plagued with. It was already apparent in seasons 4 and 5, but became blatantly obvious in season 6 when the characters spent most of their time running aimlessly around the island.

Wow I can't believe they were renewed for 3 seasons all at once. That's amazing!

Me too. I think if I had been a little bit more familiar with Zeljko Ivanek's work at the time, I probably would have seen it coming. The guy has made a living off of dying on television.

I wasn't familiar with him either.

He does play some really creepy, death infused characters

He does, doesn't he? His character in Revolution was another typical Zeljko Ivanek character. It was almost as if he was playing Edmund Burke's older brother there.
