Marc Cherry has been recycling the same storylines for 6 years now. But I've heard that ABC and the 4 lead actresses have come to agreement and the show will continue for at least 1 more season. They will be earning $375000 per episode next season.

I think the only way they could still realistically do it is if they either give Erica a V love interest or reveal that one of her relatives is a V or part V, but considering that SR clearly seems to hate everything human/Visitor related with the power of 1000 suns, I don't see him pursuing any of these avenues. It's sadly a very hopeless and frustrating situation and it makes a satisfying outcome pretty damn impossible.

Considering that SR intended to make Diana evil, the soul babbling was probably supposed to be crap. She probably only wanted for her people to gain a soul because she saw it as an opportunity for their race to become even stronger while Anna thinks of the soul/emotion as a weakness. And after Diana got what she wanted from humanity, she probably would have tried to dispose of the humans exactly like Anna will be doing in the future.

And I read that they will pay the Jersey Shore cast $100000 per episode next season They aren't even actors!

I wonder how high the production costs are for 1 episode of Desperate Housewives. Just the salary of the 4 leads makes up nearly $1.2 million and I think they have a regular cast of 13 people and also several recurring guest stars. This show has to be incredibly expensive to produce.

I've never watched an episode of Jersey Shore? Is it like a reality show? I've seen that it does have huge ratings, though. Like a 4+ in the A18-49 demo.

I think it has recently hit a series low in the US with a 2.8 A18-49 rating, but I've heard that it was the most watched comedy series internationally last year, so ABC must be making quite a bit of money with the show from international licensing.

MTV is a pay channel in my country now. I can't say I miss it. I used to get so frustrated at all the reality shows they were airing. They barely played music videos anymore.

I see. Here it was a hit when it started, but now no one I know watches it. I don't even know if it airs anymore.

That channel was good before, now it's just I don't watch it anymore.

I just read that Evangeline Lilly is pregnant. Looks like we weren't imagining things after all when we saw those photos of her a couple of months ago. Congrats to her and her boyfriend if it's true.

DH is still very popular in Germany although I don't know why. I think the show has really lost in quality over the years. I suspect most people only keep watching because of the 4 lead actresses. At least that's what kept me watching for a couple more seasons after season 1.

Jersey Shore. Don't watch it. A couple of my sisters do and I don't get why - to me it's nothing but filth and crap. LOL.

That's what kept me watching it too. But I would say many people still enjoy it. People like Jersey's Shore, Justin Bieber etc why wouldn't they like DH even with all the same storylines?

Gah, it turns out that technology really, really hates me. They will have to replace my HD, so I'll lose everything again. The movies I'll probably never get back (and that I didn't even had time to watch), other movies, all Parks&Rec I DLed for nothing, Lost s3 blu-ray quality (so huge files :/) and other stuff. I'm glad the semester only started or I would have lost all papers from uni, I would go crazy!
