I really think that all the SC interactions start when Stefan comes back and I'm almost sure that Caroline helps Elena to find him.

I was saddened too, but I still have faith. It's like, for a moment, they forgot about the bond SC made and it was weird seeing Caroline not concerned much at all , but maybe we're in for some surprise. Their best scenes always are.

I think it could be for the fact that Damon was hiding all the trails. He kept telling Elena(and Elena telling Caroline, of course) that Stefan was gone, stop looking for him, he's not coming back, bla bla bla... Maybe that's the reason why she acted like that. And since they are going strong with TC this season, I saw why they did it. Didn't mean I liked though

I wasnt expecting anything this episode tbh so the lack of concern didnt surprise me. Closer to when Stefan returns i fully believe Caroline will be there to get him back

I think so too, the storyline is not even developed yet, there's still a lot of ground to cover so I'm pretty confident that she will try to find him too

She better be engaged in Stefan's story line. He was there for her through her hardest time, she should be there for him for his hardest times too.

Even though I assumed there wouldn't be any legit scene with them, I just wished they had Caroline show more concern. I like to think - with my goggles on - that the hormones made her kinda careless and oblivious to the serious stuff going on with Stefan's search. Also, months have passed since that, so it's kinda understandable. I still believe she cares about his whereabouts, not only because he's her friend, but also cause it must be hard seeing her best friend Elena going through so much pain right now, so in this episode, they put more accent on Caroline cheering her up and doing everything she can to throw the perfect birthday party for her.

I really hope TPTB show some of Caroline's POV over this and they have her involved in that story line somehow in later eps.

My dream SL would be her being the one luring him back into MF and not being so dark anymore. Just like Lexi helped him back in the day. I wish. Le Sigh. Another Lexi parallel with SC would be amazing. They've already made their point that Caroline is his present!day!Lexy, why not pursue and develop that more?
Maybe they already have her in a big story line so they don't have time to include her in the Stefan's search one? They already have Damon, Elena and Alaric for that, and I assume once Bonnie's back she'll get into that somehow too, cause they always need their resident witch when they're stuck in a dead end. And Caro has her own SL going on, TC, MC, Carol vervaining her, and more that I can't say that are spoilers, so hopefully when she gets free of some of that drama, she can come to the rescue too!

However it is I really hope that when Stefan comes back she will be a part of his SL and helps him to come back to normal again. It's gonna make a way for very good scenes and will make their connection stronger.

I just hope they don't go down the path of the second half of S2 that they took with Caroline, with only interacting with Mom, Tyler and Matt. That got really BORING after a while.

Seriously, don't just go with a romantic/family SL with her. She's a VAMPIRE for crying out loud! Caroline in Stefan's storyline would be golden, with such awesome scenes, perhaps her even fighting alongside him
