Yep Ian is definitely our #1 honorary shipper.
Besides what he says in the interview is kinda what everyone is thinking - how is he gonna come back from what he did and get her to forgive him! At the moment it does seem impossible (and Elena said so), but clearly it's gonna change and the hate is gonna turn to love and we will squee :D

She has saved his life from Bonnie's fire, he took an arrow for her, but I imagine there would be a bigger scene where he saves her from an even bigger danger :sigh:

I think as the season goes on, he's just gonna consistently be there for her and the people that she loves.

I think he will be strong and dependable and she will slowly start to realise it.

I also think he has grown alot over the last few eps. He wont expect anything back, he wont even expect her gratitude. She will notice this, appreciate it and realise that he is changing for the better.

He will still be Damon of course :P

And as this is happening, she will find it harder and harder to ignore the 'something' between them :)

I reaaally want to have a scene where she's furious at him, because she knows she should hate him, but she can't.. like... her mind is telling her she's supposed to hate him, but her heart isn't listening:sigh: Season finale maybe:P??
