I have yet to watch this season even once.

What did you like from S5
Season 5 was rough for me. Very rough. I did like seeing DE in an actual relationship, specifically at the start of the season. I also loved seeing Caroline's feelings for Stefan starting to develop. There were some good episodes this season.

What did you dislike?
The DE back and forth was annoying at times. I also didnt love the flip flipping of storylines. It started out great imo at whoitmore but then it went downhill very fast when it started the whole Damon being locked up storyline that came out of nowhere, then the whole travelers stuff that started. It just felt very wishy washy to me and jumbled. DE also didnt get a lot of interaction.. not as much as I wanted. It had major faults. it was the first season to me where i really stopped caring about episodes and the show was losing its flair.

What are your overview of the characters?
Elena and Damon were both sort of annoying at different points. Caroline was barely tolerable in the beginning half because of all her ranting about Damon, it got really old. I did love Stefan this season though. Enzo annoyed me from the getgo, but he got better later on. Not much to say about the others tbh but I did miss Alaric.

Favorite ships?
DE of course, despite their issues. They did have some great moments here and there. Stefan/Caroline friendship was everything and the hinting at there being more between them was just the cutest thing ever!!!

Favorites episodes?
Its hard to remember episodes this season but I loved the beginning episodes a lot. I also loved some of the last episodes of the season.

Ranking:
I'd give it a 7/10 which puts it in last place thus far.

Season 1 - 10/10
Season 3 - 10/10
Season 2 - 8/10
Season 4 - 8/10
Season 5 - 7/10

I have not seen this season as of yet.
